In last week’s Health Service Journal they made a list of the 100 most influential clinicians in England. Prof June Andrews of the School of Applied Social Science at Stirling was on that list.
The nice thing is that only two dementia specialists were included – Prof. Andrews and the English Dementia Tsar Alistair Burns, furthermore there were only about a dozen nurses, so all adding to the significance of June’s inclusion on this list.
Most significantly Stirling was the only Scottish University judged to have a clinician who is among the top 100 influential people in England, so great recognition for Prof. Andrews and the work of both herself and the wider team at Stirling.
