University of Stirling Research Student, Claire Garabedian, has been accepted to present at two conferences.
Claire will be presenting at the following conferences:
“Life with Dementia: Relations” – hosted by the Centre for Dementia Research, Linkoping University, Sweden from 15th to 17th October 2014.
“Alzheimer Europe 2014 Conference” – to be held in Glasgow from 20th to 22nd October 2014. The theme for the conference is ‘Dignity and Autonomy in Dementia’.
In addition to the above, Claire is also currently involved in a collaboration between Scottish Opera and Alzheimer Scotland. This is a 10 week project with 2-hour workshops for singing, acting and dance led by professionals from Scottish Opera. This unique opportunity is aimed at people with dementia and their carer attending together.
